Deadlines
A corporate order is built backwards from the event date. That date is taken as fixed, and the sampling and production steps are planned against it. If the date cannot be met from the point of enquiry, we say so then, and the brief is adjusted while there is still time to adjust it.
Boxed Sets
A boxed set is specified as a set: what is inside, how it sits, what the card says, and how the box closes. Branding is applied as part of making the piece or the box, not added afterwards. Sets can go to one address or to a list of recipients, and the packing is specified for whichever it is.

Typical Scenarios
A company is marking an anniversary, an opening or a visit, and needs a piece that carries the occasion rather than the company's logo. The brief arrives with a date and a guest list, and the sampling and production steps are planned backwards from that date.
The second shape is a set that has to be given in a room. The pieces are chosen so that the box opens cleanly in front of the recipient and the object can go straight onto a shelf afterwards, without being repacked first.
